I've used this app for quite some time (2½ months probably) and there's this new thing where you have to buy a membership to access voice commands. I've bought a monthly membership and when I tried asking Vector to do something, it wouldn't work. I restarted Vector, still no results. I uninstalled the app and tried doing it that way but now it just says, "Vector can't reach anki services," I tried changing the wifi networks but it still didn't work. I would appreciate it if you could fix this.

I check my modem. The Vector is connected to the network by Wifi, but the app keeps saying "CAN'T CONNECT TO WIFI". I try to reboot, erase data, re-install many time but no hope. Waiting for reply from Customer Care. If nothing is fixed, I have to return it back.

Vector app keeps saying that my Vector robot is not on the same network as my. We Reanamed (and disabled) our 5GHz band and put Vector and my phone on the same 2.4 GHz band on our router. We tried everything with 3 different devices and 2 other networks as well as our home WiFi but the app refuses to let us connect? We tried the few options given by the community.Nothing works. 👏How👏do👏I👏fix👏this?

Just purchased mine and the app keeps giving me a "Can't reach anki" error and wont allow me to set up my very expensive $300 robot. I am so upset right now because of how excited I was for my little guy to arrive today in the mail. I have 2.4ghtz wifi and bluetooth connection on my android, I have done a factory reset and all troubleshooting suggestions and still nothing. I dont want to but I may have to return him if I cant get him to connect and work by tomorrow. Very sad! :'(

DDL have ruined the whole thing with their incompetence. They're in way out of their depth with these products. Their app 'development' is non existent, their "new features" are lazy and laughable. The whole company screams unprofessionalism, their website is essentially something stuck in the past also making it much more of a laughable experience. I wouldn't trust this new company as far as I could throw them. Stay very clear from this dumpster fire

Thank you digital Dream Labs for saving vector, but since your update to him he no longer recognises Voice, maybe 1 in 20 chance for him to recognise the hey vector wake up word! Also I know it's not really app related but you seriously need to do some updates to vector (not the cloud) and the app to provide many more play AI features. Even my 6 year olds are getting bored with him now!

About this app

A giant roll forward for robotkind.

Say hey to Vector, your first home robot. Seriously, say “Hey Vector.”— He can hear you.

Actually, Vector’s more than a home robot. He’s your buddy. Your companion. Most of all, he’ll make you laugh. Curious, independent, and powered by some preposterous tech and AI, he can read the room, express the weather, announce when his timer’s done (no overcooked dinner on his watch), take the perfect snapshot, and more. He also comes with an optional Amazon Alexa integration, which increases his helpfulness by accessing the ever-growing library of Alexa skills.

Vector is cloud connected and self-updates, so he’s always getting smarter and adding new features. He can even charge himself (electric cars and phones could learn a thing or two). Vector is your robot sidekick who’s up for anything.
