This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Anipanion on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Unfortunately this app will show your vet as online even when they aren't. I messaged my vet with concerns over my dog. It said she was online. I was waiting for a response... my baby girl died 2 and half hours later while it still said hang tight... It does say not for emergency use, but should not show a vet as online when they are not. It also makes no sense that you cant send any more messages until your vet replies. Multiple notifications may have gotten her attention.

Put in all information, and it keeps saying I put in the wrong security code for credit card OR to use a different card. After trying 3 different cards 2 separate times, I gave up. This app is supposed to provide "hassle-free" vet services, but giving them my source of payment is way too much of a hassle for me already.

I've researched many different vet telemedicine apps and this is by far the easiest to use with great features. Clients are happy too! I was able to do a tele-consult with a reactive dog patient without having to sedate (or lose a finger!). It's been great during social distancing too. Support is also wonderful. Couldn't be happier with my choice of Anipanion!
