This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Ticking Sound Wear on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

The app allows you to pick from a collection of ticking sounds and bring your Wear OS smartwatch to life! The ticking sound effect is not dependent on the watchface you have and can be heard from any screen of the watch.

You also get to decide when your watch should tick, from several ticking modes, like only when the screen is on, only while the watch is on the wrist, or Always On (the watch ticks even when the screen is off and you don't wear it).

Please note that some ticking modes can take a toll on battery life (for example the Always On mode), so we recommend choosing battery-efficient modes.

You can also adjust the volume of the ticking sound to your liking and the app comes with a tile that lets you enable or disable the ticking sound easier and faster.

The ticking sound stops automatically when other sounds are played on the watch, like when you are listening to music or making a call, so it doesn't interfere with the other apps on the watch.

The free version of the app is more like a demo version and lets you test the app. The free version has one ticking sound and one ticking mode available, but if you like the app, or you’d like to support us, please consider getting the PRO version to unlock the full functionality.

This application is only for Wear OS smartwatches.
