This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing 3D/VR Reel HGI Fashion Photos on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

View 3D photos from a HG Inspired Fashion shoot with Elysian models: Samantha, Cassie, Kenzie, Angie, and Molly. Hairstylist Cyndi Griffiths and Make-Up-Artist Chelsea Banks created the look. The April 2017 workshop photo shoot was sponsored by the South Jersey Photography Co-Op in Oaklyn, NJ, USA. Andy Modla is the photographer for the photos in the app.

To advance to the next photo, click/tap on screen or use a remote bluetooth controller Enter key.

The app starts in Zoom mode which allows you to tilt or roll your VR viewer headset clockwise to zoom in (magnify image) and counter-clockwise to zoom out (shrink image). Pressing the volume up key toggles between variable zoom or fixed zoom mode setting. Re-position the photo to an area of interest by moving your headset up/down or left right. Toggle the volume up key to save the zoom level and continue viewing photos at your preferred fixed magnification level for each photo.

Twin Samsung NX500 cameras captured the left and right images, and post processing for 3D alignment corrections were made with Stereo Photo Maker software. The NX500 cameras used either Nikon 50 mm or Nikon 24 mm lenses with adapters requiring manual focus. Wireless triggered strobes or constant light fixtures provided the lighting.

The fashion photos are stored as 4K+ high resolution images. With a high resolution display phone like the Samsung Galaxy S6, S7, or S8 you will be able to see fine detail when you zoom in.
