This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HMSA's Online Care on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. I love telehealth as it allows me to remain at home, decreases travel and wait times, able to see each other without a mask thus keeping the session personable. This was the first time using the HMSA app and it was great! The countdown clock was a nice touch that wasn't distracting at all. Will use this again in the future.

Convenient and helpful during this time of limited interactions in person. I Love my therapist she's really great help and it enables me to see her weekly.

Very poor connectivity. Delayed voice with echo. Very distracting and frustrating when talking to your therapist.

It takes forever to get on and 50% of the time it doesn't work correctly and end up having to use another app.

It is very difficult to switch between patient s. You have to go all the way out and come back in. We only see one doctor. Why doesn't that doctor come up as the first choice? Why do I have to search each time for that doctor?
