Still awful. The volume/notification customization issues are well-documented in other comments so I won't bother repeating them, save to say that they are nonsensical and honestly Android should flag Spoke for not following guidelines for how notifications should work in Android. The app's possibly most annoying flaw for me is the way deleting pages works. No way to multi-select, and the way the "swipe" function works is absolutely infuriating. Takes 3-4 tries to successfully swipe. Ugh Spok.

There is no middle ground for this app. Settings only allow for incessent notifications until you read the message OR you get no notification/message at all. DND means DND. It does NOT mean do-not-store for later. I have spent more hrs than necessary on the settings than anyone should. Feels like medical system apps/ software sold to hospital systems these days make physicians more and more inefficient...this one feels like it skipped beta testing altogether. Where is my efficient 80s pager???

Page volume inexplicably turns itself off now resulting in missed pages requiring uninstall/install. So not cool on a busy Consult service!

Often I don't receive page notifications until I open the app. Not good, esp. when I'm on call. IT had me reinstall the app once which only temporarily solved the problem. Also, the maintenance utility on my phone has recorded multiple crashes of Spok.

This is starting to be very annoying. I am home and I have to page people. I work in medical field and I need to have access to paging from home. This app it's constantly stopping every time I try to send the page. ....And it is not my Network or my phone , I have Samsung S10.

Messaging functionality is fine, but the app still sets the phone's global ring volume to maximum with every notification despite what the July 28, 2019 patch notes say: "Fixed - If the tone volume was set low, but not muted, the tone volume would be set to maximum when a message was received." This is definitely not fixed.
