If you are looking for a random number generator and like to ski or snowboard, this is the app for you. Simply run the app while you are on the mountain and check your vertical feet when you are done. There you will find a random number that is probably not close to the vertical feet you skied that day. The sad part is how easy this is to fix. The app does a good job of tracking the lifts you take. Simply multiply the number of times you take each lift by the vertical feet each lift rises, add them up and there you will magically find a pretty good estimate of the vertical feet that you skied. What goes up must come down, Spinnin' wheel, got to go round ... I checked the app the other morning at Winter Park, The Gondola, 1 trip. Explorer lift, 7 trips. 1 x 1,610' + 7 x 1,241' = 10,297'. The app reported about 4,000 feet at the time. Yes I was back at the bottom of the Gondola, where I started, when I checked it. My Garmin watch was almost dead on. I'm about 70,000 vertical feet short for the season. My Garmin watch is off by about 2,000 feet. I have checked several suspicious days this year and it's been as much as 19,000 feet less than and as much as 8,000 greater than the lift calculation. My Garmin watch is usually within a few hundred feet, and it is not using the lift vertical feet. Sometimes when I check the leaderboard I see people with well over 2,000 per lift. I have no idea which lifts they have taken but since the most vertical you can get off from any lift at Winter Park is 1,770 feet, something appears to be wrong. This is not an uphill skiing issue unless they can get up the hill almost as fast as the Gondola. 18,000 feet before 11 AM is not happening without the lifts. I guess this is a minor issue since they couldn't seem to keep all of the lifts running the other day. Scheduled maintenance on the Gondola starting at 11 AM shut it down for the rest of the day and the Explorer lift kept stopping so that side of the mountain was pretty useless. Fix the lifts and THEN hire an Android developer that can do basic algebra. As far as someone being told to get an iPhone, I would rather get an Epic pass. Plus my wife's iPhone is also inconsistent, although it might rate 2 stars since it seems to be closer to reality.

So-so app. Live tracking doesn't work. Neither does the leaderboard. The only thing that makes this app useful is the map view of whatever mountain you're at. (Lift status and location still doesn't donation correctly.) It also shows a basic overview of the weather and wind speeds, but I still have to go directly to the specific mountain's webpage for accurate numbers.

This app might be decent if it worked, who knows? There are certain features that just don't work no matter how many times I re-install it. The one thing I really wanted to do was use it for locating groups, but I can't enable tracking for some reason. Unfortunately, the Ikon Pass customer support is useless. If you're going to provide an app, then make sure you have a technical team to support it. Major fail, Ikon Pass. 0 stars.

This app is mostly fluff. When I try to manually track or use a link sent by friends I get an error "Not registered for tracking" or "Not registered with Skilynx". I downloaded Skilynx (had to pay for it) and the Ikon app still doesn't work. I've tried uninstalling, clearing the cache, reinstalled several times, even while on the mountain. Their DevOps team sucks. They created a nonworking app and Ikon doesn't care about the negative customer experience. Ikon should be embarrassed.

Navigation to manage a reservation is tricky and getting from home screen to the day the app is actively recording doesn't seem possible. It also won't allow me to view my day stats as that feature is for ""Ikon Pass holders only," which I am...

The App Sucks. It's biggest feature, tracking, does not work. I'm logged in correctly to my Ikon account but it says user not registered for tracking when I try to click the start tracking button. Occasionally it says user not registered for skilynx the app it uses for tracking. Customer service has done nothing to help. Terrible experience. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times to no avail
