Not connecting to Radian 2 after update to Android 10 And don't expect any update from the developers. Better of buying something else. This company is a joke since the release we only had troubles with their products. Edit 08/20:After a year there's still no update for Android 10... I guess it's time to move on!

New update 12/2020. The recent update works. Everything is controllable, stays connected. But the UPDATE FIRMWARE does not work. And if you go and try to update, you will be disconnected. Then you need to shutdown the app and the radian(s) and start over. I am running firmware 9 and the latest is 16 (that is what the app shows me), even though on Alpine Labs it shows 17. Anyway they are usable now. When is there an update coming. Update 12-31-2019.... Wow, its been that long since i initially posted. Anyway heres my update... They STILL do not work, same issues turns of bluetooth and never connects to do an update. I have contacted them and received a reply stating that if i have android 10 that they are working on it. I let them know that I am working with android 8, no new reply yet.

Like many people here, I too have a broken app. I've given them a year now to fix it, and nothing. For me, I can't download firmware updates because the app shuts down Bluetooth and then asks to enable it, and then repeats this cycle forever. Unfortunately this is a company that really halfassed a simple product, and chose not to stand behind it. Don't buy a Radian, wait for the new wave of timelapse compatible gimbals. Also, I don't use the Radian to trigger the shutter. Like other reviews have mentioned, it'll do some triggers and then just stop. I'll get about 200 triggers before it stops triggering, regardless of the timelapse duration remaining.

Hasn't worked properly on Android since it was originally released. Can't control my Radian, no error messages at all, buttons just don't do anything even though its connected correctly. Radian just spins all by itself, can't stop it from moving or start a new timelapse.

Alpine Lab couldn't resolve the software issue for Android, unable to do updates and only timelapse function. ***after 3 mths still no solution***it's now been years and still no resolution***

Still waiting for an updated version of this app that will upgrade firmware. Still stuck on version 11. Seems the app cannot control the bluetooth connection correctly
