About this app

Follo HK Damer ble etablert som egen klubb fra sesongen 2007/2008. Før den tid var vi en avdeling i Follo Håndballklubb der damene spilte i 2. divisjon, 5. divisjon og J18.
Det ble tatt sikte på at samarbeidet mellom damer og herrer skulle fortsette etter de linjer som er nedfelt i den inngåtte delingsavtalen. Således skal de to klubbene profileringsmessig fremstå utad som like (mht. logo, draktfarger og annet profileringsutstyr).

Follo Håndballklubb ble delt ved at en ny forening ble stiftet og at damelagenes medlemmer naturlig hører under avdeling damer, og ble lagt inn i en ny foreningen.

Medlemmer og eiendelene, rettighetene og forpliktelsene i den delende foreningen som fremgår av regnskap for avdeling Damer pr. 30.04.2007 ble overført til den fradelte foreningen med regnskapsmessig virkning fra 01.05.2007, dvs. fra og med sesongen 2007-2008.

Siden sesongen 2009/2010 spiller jentene i egen klubb og er godt etablert i 1. divisjon, 3. divisjon samt et J18 miljø. Spillermiljøet på A-laget har en klar målsetting om eliteseriespill når grunnlaget er der.

Follo HK Damer er en prestasjonsklubb med flere partnerklubber som det samarbeids med. Topp og bredde hånd i hånd.

Klubben har flere positive støttespillere som gjør satsingen mulig, men det blir ofte veldig mye jobb på få personer, og vi søker stadig etter engasjerte personer som ønsker at Follo skal bli et tyngdepunkt i regionen. Med seniorlag i 1. og 3. divisjon, og unge jenter i 16-18 års alderen som ønsker å satse på Lerøy, og med et godt samarbeid med klubbene i distriktet, har vi vist at det er fundamentert for en toppklubb også for damehåndballen i Follo.
