Bought this feeder and won't let me bind to the feeder no matter how many
times I scan the qr code

Basic app that allows to configure the feeder. But it crashes every time
for me when adding a new pet. Also it's limited to 10 feed times per day.
Why? Apart from that it's fine

The app is very unstable on Android 7.1, it crashes very often. Also, in
the list of automatic feeding, it doesn't show the status of the feeding
(planned vs. done). Recently, the app ceased to connect to the server,
rendering the whole point of the autofeeder useless. This is a waste of
time and money.

Update: Well being a retired techy, I could not let this go. I got it to work, here is what I did. Uninstalled all alnpet apps. Go into settings on smart phone and select Mobile Networks. Select Preferred network type. Select GSM/WCDMA (which in my case said GSM/WCDMA Preferred) Note: My original selection was GSM/WCDMA/LTE. The apps do not like LTE . I don't understand why the apps worked with my LTE setting for over a month and then decided it did not like it anymore is beyond me. Now very important, while in settings, select Wi-Fi. Select your network. Select Forget. (This will not cause any harm or change anything other than getting rid of the bothersome LTE) Select your network again and put in your router password. (Mine is located on the side of my router and is sometimes called Wireless Network Key. I did not install the Ohana app but did install the Alnpet/Honeyguaridan app. These alnpet apps appear to be interchangeable and all know your original account registration info and login. I find the Honeyguaridan one more stable. After install I simply logged in and all my settings and planned feed schedules magically appeared. Good Luck
