Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing WiTravel on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

WiTravel can help you get detailed information about the tourist sights and places around you, no matter where you are in the world.

If you worry about roaming charges, WiTravel features offline download mode that you can use to cache offline, on your device, information for entire cities even before you start the trip or while enjoying any Wifi network, so that you can use the app when internet is turned off on the device.

Last but not least if you don't wan't to always check the phone, WiTravel features and interactive audio guide, you can run in the background, and which will read in the headset the information anytime you get close of important landmarks.

For optimal use of the app GPS and Location Services should be enabled. Audio Guide might require headset for optimal use.

WiTravel features:

- World-Wide coverage of landmarks and tourist sights from online encyclopedias and sources;
- Interactive map showing sights around you;
- Download mode to cache in advance the cities you will be travelling in, in order to avoid to use the mobile networks/internet when traveling.
- Interactive audio guide mode that will run in the background and read in the headset information about the places nearby as (GPS/location service is required to be on). Internet connection is required (you may incur roaming fees if traveling) if area is not downloaded/cached in advance.
