This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Alaska Airlines - Travel on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

The app allowed me to get my boarding pass which was convenient. The check-in DOES NOT work, I had to see an agent at the beginning of each trip to check in and even then I still had trouble getting through TSA at the very start of my trip.

This app is incredible! I appreciate being able to check in without waiting in line, downloading our boarding passes, and heading straight to the gate. Thank you so much Alaska Airlines for making this so easy for someone like me, who sucks at using anything electronic. Lol -Kari M.

Great app! Makes it very easy to check in, change seats or order food! Boarding pass is very accessible when you're trying to get through a busy airport with 10 things in your hand!

The Alaska Air app is quite a bit less polished and lacks a lot of features that are common in the apps for most other airlines. It is pretty disappointing. It does work for the basics though.

App not working. Cannot check in or select seats. When I try it just says "check in not successful" and has no other advise. I try to select open seats then it tells me those seats are not avaliable but then they are still empty on the next screen. Called Alaska airlines and LOOONG auto message tells me to use the app. Very frustrating.

Awesome app for years. But since the last update I cannot see my status on the upgrade lists and it no longer sends me notifications despite notifications being turned on. I've been late checking in because of this for several flights.

Explore options, book trips, check in, and move easily through airports. Find all the flight information that matters to you, when it matters.

With our app you can book a flight, select a seat, or change your seats before you depart. We will get you through the airport faster with mobile check-in up to 24 hours before your flight. You can also save time by using our app as your boarding pass, no more kiosks or lines, just use your phone to get through the security check point at the airport.

Keep track of your flight information including flight schedule, boarding time, and airport gate changes. Share your travel itinerary with friends and family via email. Receive information about flight delays and more with push notifications.

When you’re at the airport you can keep an eye on First Class and Standby wait lists. You can change your plans to get on an earlier or later flight. We will also send you a notification, telling you if there’s an earlier flight available for you once you've arrived at the airport.
