Like others, I constantly have issues with my doorbell camera saying it is offline as well as my indoor nanny cameras. At one point we were very happy with Brinks who we inherited when they took over Moni but as of lately we are truly ready to cut ties with them. Horrible customer service, sitting on the phone for HOURS to get passed around or hung up on and if was not for being STUCK in a contract we would be gone! But it will end and we will leave and I will NOT recommend them to anyone.

Spent more money trying to fix the doorbell camera that they said was wrong and it still doesn't work! Sucks!! You can no longer watch your door bell camera live and I just got my new doorbell camera a few months ago because the last one stopped working. Everyone blames the app so fix it or give some of my money back! Can't use a service I pay for them went stay with you! I promise I will get out of my new contact I had to sign to get a doorbell camera replacement! Don't waste your money!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The cameras are horrible. Still pictures only. They advertise as new and advanced. 1080p at 10fps is not new. They are out dated garbage. They will record when they feel like it. Even then you cant see anything that would be of use if you did have a security problem. They will call every person on your list a few times before calling the police. By the time they decide to call the police the issue is already done. Run away from this outdated overpriced garbage.

NEVER works properly. From the doorbell settings to being too sensitive I've had to turn alerts off and on, to when someone rings the doorbell, the camera does NOT work so I can see who it is - for TWO years dealing with this and they never offer assistance when I call. Only working future is arm/disarm.

Worst service and Customers support. These guys don't care about the Customers problems. Be prepared to wait on the line for hours to talk to someone and call can be disconnected in the middle. And they will never give a call back, as I said they don't care. Planning to cancel the service.

The whole system is terrible, if your looking for a system that really works don't get this system. Cameras don't work when you want, they record things you don't care about and run out your data/ memory for when you do need it. I tried getting out of the contract but they said I need to pay $2500 to cancel. I bought the Blink by Amazon and use that system instead, much better AND cheaper investment if your looking for camera security. Totally regret looking to get cameras installed by Brinks.0⭐

About this app

Android users are devoted to their mobile devices. Smartphones and tablets have access to thousands of dependable and easy-to-use apps. That's why the Brinks Home Security app is so appealing: It lets either device control almost every function of your home security alarm system and
smart-home automation.

The perfect interaction

With compatible equipment and interactive functionality from Alarm.com, the Brinks Home Security app lets you manage your home from virtually anywhere. Go beyond the traditional home security alarm and add home security cameras, lights, locks, thermostats, garage-door openers and other devices to your system. After that, all it takes is a swipe or a tap to control your security and home automation devices and be aware of what s happening at
a moment's notice.

More than basic security

The Brinks Home Security app allows you to interact with your home security alarm system whether you're upstairs or uptown. Use our smart home solution to arm or disarm your system, lock or unlock doors, check the garage
door, or use a video doorbell to see who s there. There s no need to worry about forgetting to secure your house; just check it from wherever you are.

An extra set of eyes

Home security cameras are a popular addition to Brinks Home Security. Live or recorded video let you know what's going on while you're not home. It's easy to keep an eye on kids, pets or property.

Energy management

Smart thermostats are popular not just for convenience but for energy savings. Control your thermostat remotely, set up a schedule that fits your lifestyle, or let your thermostat determine your patterns and adjust
accordingly to maximize savings.

Control your lights

Remote management of your lighting is another great way to save energy. It's also a proven deterrent to would-be burglars, since they like it when no one's home. Keep them wondering by setting a schedule or by turning lights
on throughout your smart home when it gets dark and you're running late.

Just the beginning

Geo-fencing, which uses your location to automatically take useful actions while you're out. These range from real-time notifications such as a garage door that s been left open to functions like adjusting your thermostator turning on your lights. Just define a circular "geo-fence" in your Brinks Home Security app and let your smartphone do the rest.
Real-time email, text, and push notifications for potential emergencies, such as home security alarms, break-ins, and equipment failures.
Notification for specific events, such as when your kids get home from school, or when your housekeeper or petsitter are in the house.

Note: This app requires you to have a compatible smart-home system and interactive Alarm.com service plan. Feature availability varies based on system, equipment, and service plan. Visit www.brinkshome.com for more
