About this app

We are a church with a simple goal: Help people find peace and purpose in a busy world.

We know that life can be tough and we know that churches haven't always done a good job of helping people feel welcome. So we are trying our best to be the kind of church that truly is friendly. A church that feels real in a world that seems so fake. We know that we aren't perfect, and we know we don't have all the answers, but what we do have is a genuine, authentic hope for something better. We are doing all we know how to help people find a better way through friendship, forgiveness, fun and faith. We really do love God and we believe in the peace found in Jesus. We find our answers in the Bible. We stand on our tradition of holiness. We use our minds as thinking, breathing human beings living in a real world instead of acting like robots programmed by the past, and we recognize the reality of experience in our own individual lives as God seems to work in each of us just a little bit differently.

We like to say that we are a community of everyday people with everyday problems doing our best to follow Jesus. We are still growing as we learn to walk in the light of love. We've decided to work together in unity, and we're looking for new ways to meet new people and introduce them to Jesus. We hope to make a difference for good right here in NW Indiana. We are committed to this local area and yet, in some ways we hope to be an influence across the world as a small part of the big Church.

So...that is who we are, that is what we are about, and we'd love for you to stop in some Sunday morning.
