GeoRest is an application that combines GPS tracking and alarms with automatic text messages to get help you get where you’re going more easily—and safely—than ever. You simply define specific distances from your destination. As you reach these milestones, GeoRest alerts you and automatically texts messages your friends and family with updates on when you’ll arrive. If you take the bus or train, GeoRest always lets you know ahead of time when your stop is coming up.

YOUR PERSONAL GPS ALARM: The GeoRest app lets you set up GPS-based alarms for your destinations. If you’re on public transportation, you can sleep or read without worrying. At a chosen distance before your desired stop, the GeoRest alarm automatically alerts you so you always have plenty of time to gather your belongings before it’s time to get off.

YOUR AUTOMATIC TRAVEL COORDINATOR: The GeoRest app also lets you identify specific people you want to keep informed of your location and arrival time. Activate this feature whenever you wish and GeoRest will automatically send text messages at chosen points in time based on your current location. These automatic updates let everyone know about any delays en route so they know exactly when to expect you. You won’t have to remember to text them yourself and you won’t have to break your concentration while driving to answer their texts or calls asking where you are and how long until you arrive.
