This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Petersdom on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

Der Petersdom ist eines der faszinierendsten Bauwerke der Welt. Mit der App können sie ihn virtuell begehen und die unzähligen Statuen, Altäre und Mosaike im Detail kennenlernen (Wikipedia-Texte).

Die App vermittelt dazu auch die Bedeutung aller christlichen Feiertage und die Vitas der wichtigsten biblischen Personen, damit man die zahllosen Kunstwerke im Zusammenhang verstehen kann.
Die Baugeschichte wird an Hand der Biografien aller Baumeister erzählt, von Bramante, über so bekannte Künstler wie Raffael, Michelangelo, Bernini bis zu Borromini.

Die App läuft auch offline und bietet eine Führung zu den Highlights des Doms.

Ein eigenes Reisetagebuch erlaubt das dokumentieren der eigenen Eindrücke und ihre sofortige Verbreitung über soziale Medien oder per E-Mail.

New features

Behebung der Probleme mit externen "Aufräumprogrammen", welche der App die Blumendaten gelöscht haben und diese somit nicht mehr starten konnte. In der neuen Version werden nach so einem - generell nicht zu empfehlenden - automatischen "Aufräumen", eventuell gelöschte Blumendaten auf Nachfrage erneut heruntergeladen, damit die wichtige Offline-Funktionalität erhalten bleibt.

Danke jedenfalls für das Feedback der User. Gemeinsam konnten wir das Problem "Super Cleaner" doch noch identifizieren.
