About this app

This is the Afrourembo app, aimed at connecting beauty and grooming professionals with the end users.

First, the app will allow the professional to indicate their location, the services they offer, their price, their availability, indicate if they work in a salon or solo and finally tell if they are mobile or not.

Secondly, the end users will be able to find the best and the most appropriate beauty and grooming professional at any time. The clients can search in the map for the service they wish to book and even compare the prices, read past reviews and rankings of the professional they are interested in and hence help in guiding their decision making. Additionally, the clients will be able to rate and write a review on a professional's profile after the service is offered.

On the other hand, the app will allow purchase of gift vouchers, which can then be redeemed by booking a professional through the app.

The booking of a service will only be confirmed after payment is done through the app. The payment methods offer a variety of choice. The conditions and rules apply for any cancellation or rescheduling.

Finally, Afrourembo will debut in Nairobi, Kenya before expanding globally. The main aim is to allow any person of color or even other people traveling to Africa to find the right beauty and grooming service whenever they are at the comfort of their phones through the app.
