This is my favorite MetroCard app because it shows all possibilities, not just the ones that result in a zero balance. Rating goes up to five stars because Avinash updated it (in response to an email from me) to take into account the 2015 fare increase. Great for occasional visitors to the city.

No decimal point on the keyboard when entering the balance.

Most of the Metrocard calculators forgot to include the 11% bonus received with each purchase. This app does. However, it only has the option for the $2.75 fare, but not the senior, student, or Express bus fares. It'd be nice to have a free form field for the base price per ride. This would also allow you to calculate when they raise the base fare again in 2016.
