Can no longer add widgets to my homescreen, also consistently asks for default.

I purchased this launcher several years ago and it was awesome. Fast forward to 2022...setting this to the default launcher works once then it will ask me every other day to set it as default again. Everything in settings is working but super slow and many times it entire app crashes! Not sure what is happening but the developers need to work on it. It getting more and more unreliable. 2025 update. I can no longer add widgets to new homescreen. Drag and drop option no longer works!
