When a guideline suggests the user to review another, can you click the suggested guideline and be linked directly, rather than going back through the menu? ie: you're in Syncope M-19 and the flow chart directs the user to AMS M-03. You can click the box in the flowchart and be redirected straight to M-03 from M-19.
