The app is good but when you're inside a building, it will say "go out to detect a gps satellite" which is understandable.

The app name describes it perfectly. It simply uses GPS to find altitude and it doesn't require Wi-Fi or mobile signal to function. The app also gives latitude and longitude very precisely which is what GPS was designed for. Determining precise altitude from GPS is not quite as quick. However position yourself for as much unobstructed sky as you can and accuracy progressively improves. TEST: First altitude was 26 ft above actual. After 3 min altitude was exactly correct.

Down loaded and installed, took six readings sitting here never moving, got six different readings ranging over a seventy foot spread. Fixing to uninstall.

Works well enough, or should I say it's the best I've found. It's only a few metres away from the correct height most of the time and its easy to use.

amost accurate. For mountaineers and trekkers, an error of few feet doesnt make much difference i believe.

total waste...nothing shows..it says offline but gps is required...even when online, l got no data..wastage of time and around 19 Mb...pliz do urself a favor..dont use this app..run..
