The bikes are great. The customer service on the phone is great. The app/docks are ******** terrible. If there is a problem with the dock door or the bike itself, be prepared to be standing around for an hour while you try to return the bike and get another, because it takes ages for the docks/app to register that you've taken the bike (or returned it), during which time you can't book to return (or hire a replacement). Massive inconvenience to me several times now.

Registered in advance of trip. Went to book my bike but every time I go to reserve one it tells me my account is suspended. There is no more information on this issue or options to resolve it. I did send an email but have had no reply in 2 days. I will have to cancel having wasted £20 and not even ridden a bike.

Genuinely terrible - won't accept valid payment details, won't accept valid address, if you select your address from the list it auto-populates it incorrectly, you can't sign in on the website, the helpline tell you they only deal with docking station issues outside of 9 to 5. Literally no way to hire one of their bikes.

Did not accept my valid email. Did not accept a valid UK address. Had to ring up telephone support who were excellent. They were able to put the details in. Error msg on the app 'Invalid input' come on guys test your apps with real world data before you publish them. Brompton are an excellent British brand your software suppliers are letting you down. Were are user editable account details? There is no obvious way of changing/updating passwords or user account details. These are app basics

Bad app design. Map view is so slow that never get loaded up. Unable to see the account status. Unable to see what date I start hiring the bike, so it was impossible to know how much it costs. The dates only come up once I have returned the bike.
