Once upon a time, this was a great product. Seems to have been neglected though. The app won't open at all now.

App doesn't work. Keeps stopping. Contacted Google who determined after troubleshooting that it's the App. Contacted the developer and no response. $300 system and the App doesn't work. Go elsewhere for your relaxation neeeds as this will only frustrate you.

About this app

Deepak Chopra M.D. narrates and guides the user on a virtual Trip to the Forest and other programs in a light, music and holographic sound experience which helps the user relax, meditate, dream or sleep instantly and effortlessly when paired with the Bluetooth wireless Deepak Chopra Dream Weaver 3.0 glasses (available separately at www.deepakchopradreamweaver.com).

Once the App is downloaded, with just a few taps on the Bluetooth BLE enabled Android smartphone or tablet, the user, wearing the Dream Weaver 3.0 glasses with eyes closed, begins to relax, meditate, dream or sleep, depending on the program selected. People with photo-induced epilepsy should not use this device.

Since its launch, people all over the world have been using and enjoying their Dream Weavers. It has gotten extensive media coverage including the front page of USA Today, on LinkedIn and on the Conan O’Brien

Deepak notes, “I have been meditating daily and teaching meditation for over 30 years. It’s one of the most important things one can do. Some of the most successful people state that they owe much of their success to practice meditation, such as Arianna Huffington, Rupert Murdoch, Russell Simmons, Orlando Bloom, Goldie Hawn, Tina Turner, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and many more.”

“But there are many paths to the top of the mountain. While there is no substitute for authentic meditation, most wisdom traditions have evolved other methods to help people achieve altered states and move towards the direction of transcendence such as chanting, kirtan, trance dance, etc. The rhythm of these wisdom tradition technologies actually slows peoples' brain waves from their normal busy brain frequency we call Beta (13-30 cycles per second or Hz), to Alpha (8-13Hz) – meditation, Theta (4-8Hz) – deep relaxation and dreaming, and Delta (.5-4Hz) – dreamless sleep. Other cultures use peyote, ayahuasca, mushrooms and more recently LSD. One can also learn to control their brain waves through various neuro feedback technologies such as electroencephalograph, galvanic skin response, and heart, pulse and breath rates."

“The Dream Weaver is different in that it does not require anything of the user other than showing up. The Dream Weaver app causes the LED strobe lights on the Dream Weaver 3.0 glasses to flash rhythmically from 1 to 20 cycles per second (Hz). The experience is had with one’s eyes closed resulting in a meditative, relaxed or dream state depending on the program."

The wireless Deepak Chopra Dream Weaver 3.0 light and sound mind machine has RGB LEDs which create programmed white light and all colors of the rainbow. The free app which drives the Dream Weaver 3.0 Bluetooth glasses comes with 10 Dream Weaver programs. Additional programs for the 3.0 will be available through In App Purchases.
