Dr.Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was born on 15 October 1931 in Rameswaram. Dr.Kalam was the youngest of four brothers and one sister in his family. Kalam's family had become very poor at an early age so he sold newspapers to increase his family's income. After completing his education at the Schwartz Higher Secondary School at Ramanathapuram, Abdul Kalam went on to be present at Saint Joseph's College, Tiruchirappalli, then affiliated with the University of Madras, from where he graduate in physics in the year of 1954. , After graduating, Kalam united the Aeronautical Development Establishment of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) as a scientist. In 1969, Dr. Kalam was transferred to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) ,he was the project director of India's first Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV-III) .Scientisit Abdul Kalam made an endeavor to develop the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and SLV-III projects, both are launched successfully which made india to move forward. APJ kalam was a 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007 .He thus came to be identified as the Missile Man of India for his work on the development side of ballistic missile and launch vehicle technology


And Dr.Abdul kalam Received the honourable awards from india as Padma Bhushan in 1981, Padma Vibhushan in 1990.And Dr.Kalam's 79th birthday was recognised as World Students' Day by United Nations.
