About this app

Sometimes we can’t remember exactly where we parked our cars. Maybe in a massive parking lot, maybe a new city. Maybe we just tend to forget these tiny details of life. HOMIES are here to help you out! This app helps you find where you've parked your car, even if you don't own a HOMIE.

How does it work?

HOMIES are hand-crafted figures containing a chip that allows them to communicate with the HOMIES App on your phone. The HOMIES App is able to save your car’s location every time you park, automatically, without you doing anything at all!

Is it magic or what?

By saving your car’s GPS location automatically, the HOMIES App will show you a map with your parking spot on it. That’s handy! But wait, there’s more! When you get close enough to your car, and the HOMIES App detects the HOMIE in the distance, it will guide you there with a “Hotter… Colder…” radar until you are in front of your beloved vehicle.

Can I use it without a HOMIE?

Yes, this app also allows you to save your parked car's location manually and use a map later to find it. You can choose to get a HOMIE for your car later at any point to make this process automatic.

**Important info for Huawei phone owners:

If you're installing the HOMIES app on a Huawei phone, there may be an extra step you need to take in order to ensure that our app will work at maximum efficiency.
Later Huawei models, especially ones running Android 5, have a feature called "Protected apps". You can find this feature in Settings -> Privacy & security -> Protected apps.
If you have this entry, you'll see a list of apps installed on the phone. Simply find the HOMIES app, and switch it on. Now you're all set!
If you don't have this entry, you can rest easy - there's nothing for you to do!
