The Children's e-Hospital App has been written, designed & built by UK based paediatric consultants, paediatric nurses, health visitors and other health professionals. The information that we supply is based on evidenced based or best practice. Our aim is to connect you with specialist paediatric advice from child health experts.
The Children's e-Hospital app gives parents the tools to manage common baby & childhood medical problems at home.
The app shows how to provide first aid for infants & children (eg how to manage a choking infant or child & how to provide basic life support), gives information on common paediatric illnesses & information on the drugs that are frequently used in children
As part of the drive to help children grow into healthy adults the app provides a detailed diet plan to help promote healthy living and reduce childhood obesity.
There is information on the normal vital signs (temperature, heart rate & breathing rate) in babies & children and the ability to seek expert advice through the app.
The App will continue to evolve and links directly with the main children's e-hospital website. New child health information will be given directly to our subscribers so that we provide the very best care for our children.
The proceeds from the sale of this app will go towards the development of the Children's e-Hospital child health monitoring kit which will allow us to deliver better and safer care within the home environment to our children.
