Fan seems to work well. App is okay. Alexa integration was quick and easy. Any chance for local control outside of the app? I would love to integrate with my home automation in OpenHAB.

Very quiet works well, but where is the feature to activate based on temperature?

Considering I just bought a $300 fan, it's a bit ridiculous to charge another $10 just to use the fan with the app. This is especially true when the app is significantly lacking in the UX department compared with other smart home apps. Takes forever to login and doesn't stay connected when the app is running in the background. Lots of slowness and lag when using the app. Integration with Google home is poor and works about 25% of the time. Good thing the fan came with a Bluetooth remote...

I subscribe to what other users have highlighted: extra $10 for the app, for fans which cost more because they're "smart", seems a lot (you don't pay for Philips Hue, Wemo, Nanoleaf, Wyze...) but you know that since before you buy the fans, so that's ok. The app though is very old looking and the web services powering it are slow (logging in and connecting to the devices take quite a while). Also, I wasn't able to add the fans to my Google Home, when Google Home tries to link the WAC account, it just exits the process and nothing happens - which is a major issue. UPDATE: By the way: we have 3 WAC Smart Fans and I realized you have to buy the app every time for every fan. That's absolute nonsense.!!!

Here's my basic review after a couple days: -Really don't like the 10.00 buck per fan fee for something that should be included... Since I paid for a "smart" fan -No support for breeze mode with Google home, after paying for the fan upgrades, kinds BS -Set up could be better. Example, if you enter wrong wifi password it will still add the fan and make no real inference. Not user friendly. Yeah, one star. Cleanup bugs two. Add full Google home support and remove ludicrous nickel and diming, 5⭐

WAC app has ceiling fans going crazy Has WAC Play app been hacked. It's not connecting proper my 2 smart ceiling fans. I set one speed and the ceiling fans speed up and then slow down and then don't respond to the setting change at all. Fix the connectivity from the app and get my rating increased
