Twice (Korean: 트와이스; Japanese: トゥワイス) is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2015 reality show Sixteen. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group debuted on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins.
Yoo Jeong-Yeon (Hangul: 유정연 hanja: 俞定延; born 1 November 1996), better known mononymously as Jeongyeon, is a South Korean singer-songwriter. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Twice, which was formed by JYP Entertainment through the television program Sixteen.

In 2016–2017, she co-hosted the television show Inkigayo with her sister Gong Seung-Yeon, for which they both won the Newcomer Award at the 2016 SBS Entertainment Awards. Jeongyeon is one of the three members of Twice who was voted among the top 20 most popular idols in South Korea in Gallup Korea's annual music poll for three years in a row from 2016 to 2018.
