About this app

Prof. Dr. Vladimir Martinek ist Chefarzt des Gelenkzentrums in der Schön Klinik Harthausen in Bad Aibling und Konsiliararzt für Kniechirurgie in der ATOS Klinik München. Er studierte Humanmedizin und promovierte an der LMU München und komplettierte seine Facharztausbildung zum Orthopäden und Unfallchirurgen an der Klinik für Orthopädie und Sportorthopädie im Klinikum Rechts der Isar an der TU München. Seine Ausbildung fand unter anderem in der Schweiz, in Südafrika und in den USA in San Francisco, Boston und Pittsburgh statt. Er habilitierte zum Thema „Experimentelle Gentherapie am Kniegelenk“ und erhielt 2014 seine Professur an der Universität Rostock. Seit 2006 arbeitet er in seiner eigenen großen Gemeinschaftspraxis in Bad Aibling wo er sich auf Sportmedizin und Gelenkchirurgie spezialisiert und etwa 800 Operationen im Jahr durchführt. Zu seinem Therapiespektrum gehören Sportverletzungen und Gelenkschäden am Knie-, Schulter- und Hüftgelenk, mit dem gesamten operativen Bereich von der Arthroskopie bis zur Endoprothese. Seit der Einführung der Focus-Liste wird er unter den führenden deutschen Kniespezialisten geführt.
