Have a new switchmate, but the app won't let me do anything for it. Wish I would have read app reviews before my purchase... I'd have skipped it altogether, especially since switchmate don't seem to want to address anyone complaints.

Horrible experience. Trying to install Switchmate original. Of course, the new SimplySmart Home does not support the original switch. Why would it? Likewise, the old app is no longer available. None of our devices recognize the Switch. I bought 3 of these Switchmate originals and now have three useless pieces of plastic. * I did get an old iPhone to recognize it. Now waiting for update for Android... please.

I downloaded both app for smartmate switch for my lights, and it doesn't even give me a chance to connect to Alexa at all. Only thing it can do for now is just get onnone of my old app and turn the switch off if it works. Looked up on YouTube how to do it and all of them are able to connect and gives you a choice to connect to Alexa but nope!!!

Same experience as others. Bought the light switch toggle a year ago, and the app, while not great, worked well enough. I had to uninstall and reinstall recently, and now the app has been branded SimplySmart, but I no longer can control my light switch or automatic settings. Disappointing! 9/14 Edit: So things happen, products fail. But I am revising my rating because after voicing my concern, I have received continuous updates from SimplySmart - the app is back online and works! Kudos!

This app shows lightswitch capabilities as "coming soon." I uninstalled the app reinstalled it and this new app does not control or recognize my switches. Please fix ASAP. This is a major inconvenience. Additionally, there is no switchmate home app option to download as the instructions indicate. Any help would be beneficial. Thank you kindly.

First the zip firmware was supposed to be updated and got "stuck", after several emails with support they just sent me a new one, then the cube did the same and is "stuck" trying to update firmware, so I'm just going to throw everything in the garbage (except the AA batteries) and never buy from them anything ever again, this is a total and utter joke so stay away and DO NOT waste your money!
