Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing StrackaLine on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

nothing free. not even a trial. it's all "buy" this. if you are going to actually use this, expect to pay at least $125 for each course. this app is just a marketing tool for their website. go to Golflogix instead, there you can get the same with a free run with a few courses and then pay $10 for one month for unlimited. i dont know who would pay this much when other tools do the exact same for a fraction of the price. the 5 stars are probably staff, friends or relatives.

Love the Strackaline app! My course has greens with subtle breaks and undulations, and are *very* hard (almost impossible) to read. The app has increased my putting confidence by allowing me to make a confident putting stroke without second guessing myself. The "make the putt" feature is nice for practice rounds. Calculates the breaks. Just be aware you are of course *not* allowed to use this feature during tournament play. Makes sense. Sure, if your course hasn't yet been scanned, this app won't help you - don't get it till your course is available. But if it is their database, go for it! I took off one star because the app is limited to paper size printing (4x6 inch paper would be awesome) and the many print properties are undocumented - requiring much trial and error to get what you want.

Why even make this app available for download? It's completely useless. I feel like we're being trolled by the devs.

App works great for all the courses you guys got so far! I understand there are thousands of Golf courses in the world and getting permission to manually laser scan to each one can be tough! Keep up the good work!

HOW DOES THE APP WORK?
