The final color obtained is reddish brown and lasts for one to three weeks depending on the quality and type of henna paste used, as well as on the part of the body where the henna is applied (the thick skin produces a darker color than thin skin). Moisturizers with natural oils such as olive oil or coconut oil can also help the henna color last longer (used every before touching the water). Peel or scrub will make the color henna fade faster.
