Way better than Agent and Trigger. Could be enhanced if supported automatic silencing for Shabbat: would need 18 minutes prior to sundown, and absolute period=24 hrs 47 min (or, relative end=sundown+47 min).

About this app

Tired of remembering to silence your phone's ringer during prayers, meetings, or classes? And when you do silence it, do you sometimes forget to turn it back on again afterwards? Then you need Minyan Silencer.

MinyanSilencer lets you set up multiple schedules when your phone should automatically turn off its ringer, and then later turns it back on. Schedules can be configured either in absolute time, or relative to sunrise or sunset (particularly useful for prayers / minyanim). If your phone doesn't have GPS, you can manually select a city for calculating sunrise & sunset times.

An added optional feature (must be turned on in settings) works when you manually silence your phone, and asks you when you would like it to turn back on again.

New features

Working version again, after an Android "security" update broke the last one by causing a call with a certain parameter to crash for "security". If you Google guys are reading this, Microsoft OS's have their faults, but they are fanatical about backwards compatibility. Even if critical to security (and I doubt it) an issue like I just had should have been caught at compile-time, seriously. If you can't use that parameter anymore, un-define it. Also some substantive changes.
