About this app

Terletak sekitar 21 km di sebelah barat Jakarta, kawasan Serpong, Tangerang telah dipersiapkan sebagai salah satu kota satelit yang mendukung pertumbuhan ibukota Jakarta, terutama dalam mengakomodasi kebutuhan kawasan hunian sejalan dengan pertumbuhan populasi di wilayah Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Pada tahun 1993, Summarecon bekerjasama dengan Keris Group untuk mengembangkan sebuah kota mandiri baru, yang kemudian dikenal sebagai Gading Serpong dengan total area seluas 1.500 hektar.

Kemudian pada tahun 2004 mitra usaha Summarecon memutuskan untuk mempercepat pengembangan kawasan Gading Serpong dengan melakukan pembagian lahan dan pengembangan secara individu. Dengan pembagian lahan yang sama sekitar 400 hektar untuk masing-masing perusahaan, Summarecon kemudian melakukan pengembangan porsi lahan yang ada dibawah nama Summarecon Serpong. Hingga tahun 2004, Summarecon telah mengembangkan 400 hektar lahan Gading Serpong.

Pasca pemisahan Summarecon Serpong telah mengembangkan sebanyak 48 cluster untuk kawasan hunian dan komersial. Summarecon Serpong juga telah menyediakan beberapa fasilitas pendukung seperti sekolah, universitas dan perguruan tinggi, pasar modern, klub olah raga dan rekreasi, golf course and club, dan rumah sakit. Dengan lahan seluas 500 hektar yang tersedia saat ini, Summarecon Serpong telah diatur untuk dapat menyamai bahkan melebihi kesuksesan Summarecon Kelapa Gading dalam waktu dekat.
