The app has one serious flaw. It doesnt run in background. Imediatly after i switch to onther application or close the screen, the app looses gps. I assured that it has rights to run in background and no battery optimisation is allowed to touch the app. Android 9. I am giving 4 star for encouragement and give 5 when fixed.

Excellent application. It provides a network service at port 7000 under TCP protocol, and no only under bluethooth. Chek the IP address of your smartphone under Config/About phone/Status/Ip address. Using your PC (Linux or Windows) under console, command: telnet IP-SmartPhone 7000 . Now you see the GPS NMEA data from network. I would suggest some fixes: a) Menu is not working under Android 7. b) Menu option to close the application.

I am running a Note 8, and it obliterated my gesture control. It is not that important, but it is somehow doing something to navigation. Still trying out various things, but it seems like it will be ok, gotta go 3 stars for now re: the problem with the native controls I had set.. Will revise if appropriate

I needed to connect an external GPS to my Windows 8.1 laptop but didn't have the necessary hardware to connect. A quick search revealed this and some other apps. Installed on my Moto G, paired with Windows laptop OK. Assigned a bluetooth COM port on the laptop and set the speed to 4800. It just works!
