Get Me A Taxi is an easy to use mobile app that connects and taxi drivers and passengers. It’s a most preferable mobile app which ensures easy taxi requesting, passenger safety, live routes, taxi fares and much more. The app helps passengers sending pick up requests to nearby drivers and with driver’s availability can hire a taxi.

With just one tap, nearby drivers will be notified about a new ride. They reply to the passengers and if the passenger approves the ride, Taxi driver will drive to the Pickup location. On the way of the ride, both passenger and driver can see the map of their ride.

Features for Passenger

Pickup Request – Passenger can enter its current location through the GPS for pick up location. The pickup location can also be manually entered. Then passenger enters the destination address. Then the pickup date and time. Clicking upon the Submit button, notifications will be sent to the nearby taxi drivers.

Live Route – Track where you going through the Live Route. The advanced Google map shows the source and destination.

Notifications – Get notified whenever any nearby driver replies to your pickup request. Whenever any driver accepts your request, you will be able to see the Driver profile, Distance from pick up location and ETA (Estimated Time to Arrive) details. After checking all details, Passenger can approve the request and then only it will be a confirmed booking.

Fare Calculator – Click on any of the previous or current bookings to see the following details. 1. Source and Destination Address, 2. Booked Date & Time, 3. Booking Type (AC/Non-AC), 4. Pickup Date & Time, 5. Travel Distance, 6. Price Per Km and 7. Travel Price.

Favorite Locations – Add upto 20 favorite locations, so that you do not have to type in your source and destination address all the time. Choose from your stored favorite locations and with just one tap your address will be filled in the space.

Bookings – Keeps all the bookings (confirmed/cancelled bookings) you have done till now through the mobile app. The Booking details contain 1. Source and Destination Address, 2. Booked Date & Time, 3. Booking Type (AC/Non-AC), 4. Pickup Date & Time, 5. Travel Distance, 6. Price Per Km, 7. Travel Price, 8. Driver Name and 9. Taxi Number.

Edit Profile – Passenger can also edit its own profile; add name, email and photo.

Features for Driver

Drivers can also use most of the features like Live Route, Notifications, Fare Calculator and Bookings. The functionality in all of the above are mostly same as in Passengers section.
