For 18 months this SkyView Cam app worked great. This app stopped working with Samsung Galaxy S5 and the latest Lollipop Operating System. Using either 4G or a Wi-Fi connection, this app will fail in the boot-up process and automatically close the app. Unistalling and reinstalling this app did not help. Following the advice of others here, I installed the iVMS-4500 app, and it works GREAT with Galaxy S5 and Lollipop. My LaView DVR system and my Samsung Galaxy S5 are now a happy couple!

I purchased my LaView system in Dec '14 and this app worked fine for a while. However, several months ago it just stopped working with the error "Unfortunately SkyView CAM has stopped." Nothing has changed with my setup and get the same error on my Galaxy S3, S4, S6 Edge+, Tab2 and LG V10. Even tried the SkyView CAM HD and get the same error.

Works great with KitKat. Crashes with Lollipop. Fix that please. A couple issues while using Android devices: you have to DL all of Laviews mobile apps to see which one is compatible with your device. Some may work. While others don't. I guess patience is key. There's no way to tell. Otherwise that would have saved me over 2hrs of trial and error.

The app works great and I love it, but whenever I am connected to my home wifi I cant view the cameras. This is a problem because sometimes my 4g will be slow or I will try viewing from my tablet. If this problem gets fixed this app will be a 5/5.

This app works pre-Lollipop but hasn't seen an update in forever. iVMS-4500 works with the LaView DVR and used to be identical to this app (although red instead of blue) but now has a nice modern material/metro-esque interface. Also, doesn't crash. Hikvision's iVMS-4200/4500 PC apps work too. Go check it out!

Dev seems to be more interested in releasing a million different versions of this app that only seem to work for one particular model of DVRs instead of patching their existing apps, and it appears this is the only version that works for mine... except it doesn't. App crashes each time it connects.
