This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Safe Sets on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

This app is awesome! It eliminates the need for a working pen (a problem all to often), eliminates the need to do math for switching sides on top of making sure that you get all of the points recorded, and helps you remember which team is serving after a long rally. Basically, it makes score keeping easy! The new feature for indoor is a great extra option too!

About this app

Requires Android 5.0 and up. With this app you will be able to keep score of your indoor matches and outdoor volleyball tournaments seamlessly. For indoor games, simply enter the amount of points each set will be played to.(ex. play to sets of 25) For outdoor games, enter the amount of points your sets will be played to, enter the amount of points teams switch sides on. (ex. play to sets of 25, switch every 10 points.)

For indoor games the app will give you a pop up to enter each teams name. No side changes or anything like that is necessary in indoor play.

For outdoor games the app give you a pop up to enter in players names for each team, but you will also be alerted of side changes. Info on the screen switches sides with the teams. No having to flip your phone around to keep the correct team on the correct sider of your phones screen. It will also indicate who's serve it is. Designed for quick point volleyball. The app will also tell you who the winning team is when the appropriate score is reached. (as with AVP and FIVB scoring it is set up for teams to win by 2 points. It will keep scoring if a team is not up by at least two points)

Upgrades will be made to the app, but for now it is very simple and free for anyone to use.

This app is in no way associated with the AVP or FIVB. It is a simple score keeping app to make life convenient for players having to ref games at local outdoor volleyball tournament. All code, images, and materials created by the developer of the app.
