This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Shop In Order on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

Have you ever had to walk back and forth across a large super market because you forgot or missed items on a long shopping list? I have, many times, and it gets worse when I am in a hurry. For example, when I am preparing a large meal for the holidays or getting ready for a party.

Shop In Order uses a geo-clustering algorithm to sort your shopping lists. Shop In Order allows you to create a long shopping list over a period of time. When you are ready to shop for that list Shop In Order can automatically reorder your list so that you can Shop In Order.

Shop In Order is based on three basic assumptions:

1. Regardless of your culture, your diet, or where you live you tend to buy the same food items over and over again.

2. You tend to shop at the same few grocery stores over and over again.

3. Given a list of any significant size you tend to walk through the grocery store in the same general pattern each time you shop.

Based on these assumptions Shop In Order learns what you buy, where you shop, and how you shop. It can then order the items on your list based on what you are buying and where you are shopping.
