This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing EvolveSMS Theme- Aperture on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Matches my Samsung background. Itzel, it's for EvolveSMS. Hence the name...No it's not for hangouts, etc.

This has been my go-to theme ever since installing EvolveSMS. The day/night themes seem reversed when you turn off the theme wallpaper however. But since you can choose the theme change time, it doesn't matter. Just set day to PM and night to AM. ツ

Much better than stock ones. Hopefully we'll see more payed ones. I'd gladly pay for some of these in various colors.

Aperture is a simplistic theme that brings the focus of your conversation to the background. This theme is created to be easily readable with custom backgrounds, while still maintaining a pleasant aesthetic.


This theme has a Day and Night mode, as well as unique bubbles for each of the following types of messages:
•Regular
•Locked
•Sending
•Failed
•Selected
•Delivered


To apply the theme, go into Evolve SMS --> Settings --> Theme Settings --> Use Add-On Theme --> Select "Aperture"


To apply a custom background: Go into Evolve SMS --> Settings --> Check "Custom Background" and select your own custom background!
