About this app

With an important collection of traditional art, the Girodet Museum invites visitors to explore the careers of two natives of the region: the painter Anne-Louis Girodet-Trioson (1676-1824), who gave his name to the museum, and the sculptor Henry de Triqueti (1803-1874), who played a major role in constructing the building and expanding the collections.

The museum was inaugurated in 1853. It has stood on its present site since 1864, with a green setting and a romantic atmosphere that you can enjoy before or after your visit!
