Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SandboxGallery - Exhibitions on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Instead of simply showing individual pictures, the sofware places the whole exhibition online and makes it freely accessible to visitors – in 3D and right through to the finest brushstroke. Artists, photographers, curators, gallery owners, museums and collectors are given a tool with which they can group works themselves into sophisticated exhibitions and release them. Become your own curator and gallery owner.

SandboxGallery is powered by Unity3D, runs in your browser or on your mobile devices and does not require special software or hardware. All you need is a normal laptop or mobile device. After installing the plugin or app, you can upload your artworks within minutes, frame them, and add audio and text information and place them in the gallery of your choice. Visitors can move freely through the exhibition rooms, enjoy the artworks and contact you. Pictures and exhibitions can be shared on social media or displayed on your websites.
