This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing LinkBike on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

First registration was easy step, but when your package running out, you cannot unsubscribe it, and cannot buy a new package, such a disappointment. And yes, already call your customer services but no response.

Only time will tell if this application is maintained properly. Thus far so good. Allows me to see all the privileges easier. Though I do find it funny that they have hidden the old linkbike listing instead of updating it. Most likely because of all the negative reviews. The one disadvantage I found of this new application is that the ride history is not as detail as in the old application lacking station details.

Downloaded app. But can't even register despite filling in all details. Non reason was given as to what the error is. Can't get past sign up page.

Good experience cycling in linkbike in penang and it's also best way using Linkbike to explore the heritage area. Wow.. The app is improving.. Love it so much.

No Indonesian... And it is written that both annual and casual member must deposit 50 ringgit and the fee to rent will be deducted from the credit deposit. So it is not a one time use!

LinkBike is taking commuting to a new level

PENANG is one step closer to be a liveable and international city. Apart from building a 39.3 KM dedicated bicycle lane from Straits Quay to Penang International Airport, now the city will be linked with bicycle lanes and commuters have the convenience of BSS.

LinkBike BSS operated by FAST RENT BIKE (PG) Sdn. Bhd. is an initiative by Penang Island City Council (MBPP) to make Penang an international city like Melbourne, Amsterdam, Tokyo and others. MBPP is working closely with the operator to set up 25 strategic locations in George Town and also Queensbay and Straits Quay.

LinkBike will redefine a new way to connect and commute within George Town, Penang. Anyone can pick up a bike from any of the 25 stations and return it to another station. It is as simple as a scan on the QR Code to release the bicycle. These bikes serve as a short distance transit vehicle to reduce/replace use of motor vehicles, avoid traffic congestion and reduce environmental pollution.

With the BSS, one can also cycle to Straits Quay or Queensbay on the scenic coastal lane. Penang is on its way to connect the last mile which is part of the Penang Transport Masterplan. In future, one can hop on and off the LRT and grab a bike to reach their destination.
