This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Durham Student Life on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Little bit useless really. I wanted information on off campus housing as a PG. I got a short blurb about on campus housing that didn't even give me the names of the 16 Colleges.

About this app

Durham County Council and Durham University have worked together to develop an App for the county’s students. The aim of the App is to provide information on local services which may be useful for students while living in County Durham.

You will find information on events in Durham, rubbish and recycling (including bin collection dates for your street), living in Durham, personal safety and health and wellbeing.

App Permissions

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to collect battery statistics
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
