Hello and welcome to the tutorial on how to draw manga. In the last tutorial on drawing manga. Our first step to drawing manga is rather simple but very important. We are going to draw super-simplified stick figures to represent your manga character. The manga face is made up of very basic shapes. So there's very little I can recommend here except to practice, practice, practice. If you can master drawing one manga face well, you'll be able to draw other manga faces as well.

Start out by sketching your character in stick figure form. You want to create different poses using straight lines and circles. Here is your chance to be creative. As you are designing your manga character, put him or her in whatever pose you want. Play around with it. You can even have the manga character hold swords or fly in mid-air.

I asked why she wants to learn how to draw manga. She told me her friends talk all the time about learning how to draw manga. Then they talk about modern manga. She said her friends would think she was some sort of freak if she revealed she did not know anything about manga.
