Using BlueStacks

About this app

The Breast Difference Calculator is meant to save plastic surgeons valuable time in the operation room, before a breast enlargement surgery. Using 4 simple photos of your patient's breasts, you can calculate the difference between their volumes, and know which implants to use in each breast.

This reading is an estimation which is highly operator dependent and should be performed by trained professionals. Size differences must be corroborated by external sizers. Interpretations and surgical implementation are the sole responsibility of the surgeon.
In addition, the pictures of the patients and the results are not used, distributed or saved in any way.

Since this app is designed for breast enlargement operations, the calculation will only work on small and non-ptotic breast (breasts in which the lower point of connection with the chest is the lowest part). The calculation is based on academic and independent research striving to find the best formula to assess the breast's volume according to its dimensions.
The calculation process includes only a few steps: you need to take a total of 4 photos, two of each breast (one from the front and one in profile view). In each image, you are asked to place a small ruler for scaling purposes. In each of the "front" images, you need to the place two arrows: on the left and right ends of the breast. In the "profile" images you need to place three arrows: on the top and bottom of the breast (where the breast is connected to the chest) and on the nipple. In addition, in each of the images you need to scale the virtual ruler so that it will be the same size as the ruler in your image.
The process and interface are designed to be as simple and quick as possible:
1. In the home screen, a tutorial is available for you to understand the general requirements of the app and the work process.
2. During the process, a progress bar is placed on the top of the screen to indicate your advancement.
3. In each step, short instructions will be written below the progress bar, so you'll know exactly what to do at all times.
4. In each screen, a "help" button is available, which contains detailed instruction regarding your current section.
