This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing LitterBusters on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

The app doesn't actually do anything, I ended up having to clear the rubbish myself!

This app works brilliantly, loved using it and especially more so now with their latest update where you can see a list of people's litter reports and the date and address and type of litter that everyone has reported. This new live RSS feed is awesome and helps residents see where the worst litter problem areas are in your suburb. Helps to keep track of litter problem areas really transparent so the Council cannot ever claim that they have not received your report as they are all listed on the app for everyone to see. This Litterbusters App is the original app released in September 2014 and it just keeps getting better with these great new features.

About this app

Simply take a pic of the litter that you have found and tell us what kind of litter it is. Hit the Submit button and very soon after we receive your report a LitterBusters team member will have the litter cleared away.

LitterBusters is a rapid response team whose primary function is to raise current levels of community amenity by providing the following services:

• Rapid response litter removal (seven day operation)
• Pavement steam cleaning
• Pressure washing
• Removal of illegal dumping.

The LitterBusters strive to enhance the cleanliness and general appearance of the City and develop a stronger sense of pride in the community. The LitterBusters want to raise awareness about the impact that litter has on the environment, and engage the community to be proactive and report offenders.

The team will operate seven days a week in a range of shifts to allow them to maintain high-use areas, responding to litter requests within 24 hours, where possible.
The LitterBusters key goals will be to provide the community with a timely response to their requests, reduce the impact of litter on our environment, monitor illegal dumping and litter hot spots, as well as generally maintaining paths, boardwalks and other areas..
