About this app

Have you been looking for specialty hair headbands that really stand out? When you finally find one you really like, notice how expensive they are? It seems everywhere you look these days, you see infants, toddlers, teenage girls, and women wearing hair bows, headbands, or both.

With all the styles, colors, and sizes available, it is easy to see why they are so popular. They add just the right amount of pop to any outfit, and can be worn in a variety of ways. Most headbands range in sizes from about two inches up to 6+ inches, and in styles from the simple to the big boutique headbands. The big layered boutique headbands are great, and fun to wear because they are big and loopy, with all kinds of different size and color ribbon. They are most commonly made from a satin, or the more popular grosgrain ribbon. Understandably, the more complex the headbands, the more it costs.

Most commonly seen, are variations of the standard headbands, however, the korker style is becoming more and more popular all the time. They are so cute, and different from regular headbands. The ribbon is curly and springy. They come in a vast array of color combinations, so it is easy to find one to match any outfit. They can be worn alone, or easily clipped to a crochet headband for a different look. Korkers are also adorable attached to flip-flops. They range in size from 2 inches up to 5 inches. They can also be fairly expensive because of the time involved with curling the ribbon, and depending on whether they are sewn together, or glued together. The better quality korkers are sewn, not glued.

It may take a little more of your time initially, but doing some searching can save you quite a bit of money on purchasing hair accessories for you or your little one(s). There are sites out there that offer a good variety of headbands, hair bows, flower clips, and a lot more for some really great wholesale prices. Now, just because they are "wholesale" doesn't mean that you have to sacrifice quality, pay a membership, or buy a minimum amount to get a good deal. I have found that there are a lot of sites that do require a membership and minimum, or that you have to be a business. However, with some research, I have come across sites that do not ask for any of those things. Perseverance really does pay off.
