To create a more visually interesting design, paint the vertical portions of the tray steps and the walls with same color and the color in the horizontal sections of the tray steps and the ceiling should match with each other. Those of you who prefer to cover up the ceiling can either put up wallpaper or install tiles on it. Select a rich textured wallpaper as it will give a dramatic look to it. Ceiling tiles are available in the market in wide range of colors and you can choose the one that complements with the wall colors.
Some tiles have designs engraved on them. Some of these designs are traditional and others are modern. Your choice of purchase depends on the kind of look you want for your interiors. As the tiles are light in weight, you can install them easily by applying any simple construction adhesive. While installing the tiles, take care that they are fitted together quite well and the grooves between them are not visible.
