The human activities have an impact on environment, and those activities are measures with the carbon footprint. The food has a carbon footprint, and different foods have a carbon footprint, and this varies from low to high carbon footprint and it is expressed on kilogram (kg) of carbon dioxide equivalent (kg CO2eq). Example 1 kg of beef cattle meat generates almost 27 kg CO2eq, meanwhile 1 kg of vegetables generates a 1 kg equivalent of carbon dioxide.
